Londonderry has NO municipal curbside bulky-item pickup program. Residents use the Drop-Off Center at 13 Recovery Way (seasonal Apr-Nov, Sat 7:30 AM-3:30 PM and Wed 3-7 PM until Sep 2). Fees: sofa, dining table, or full/queen/king mattress $14 each; chair, loveseat, or twin mattress $7 each. Mattresses are accepted (unlike MA, NH has no landfill ban on mattresses). Large appliances WITHOUT freon (washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, metal scrap) are accepted as scrap metal for $5/load. EXCEPTION: refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners (freon-containing) are REFUSED at the Drop-Off Center and must be picked up by a licensed CFC-recovery hauler or scheduled with WM or a private service. Curbside trash is collected weekly by WM (Waste Management) using town-supplied 64-gallon green automated toters; bulk items that do not fit in the toter are NOT accepted curbside. For items too large or heavy to transport, a private junk-removal company can haul bulky items directly from the property year-round.
